My Contribution

For some time I have had a passion for the arts and sciences, and it grows stronger with each passing day. If I am not studying, I am playing my own positive, original music with my band, lending a hand with agricultural projects in my community or helping with health surveys of our community's youth. I am involved in several projects concerning alternative energy and I tutor all the mathematics and english available at our college on a peer level. I also volunteer for blood drives, cancer fundraisers, and Habitat for Humanity. I love to help others. I would have never achieved what I have without help from others.

My educational path, somewhat taxing of late ( 19 credits with a 4.0), has already been rewarding in that I love to learn and be around bright people. After this semester, I will graduate with my first degree in applied science and I will be attending Lake Superior State University in cold Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to attain a Bachelor's in Biology (botany) with a minor in chemistry.

The goals I have set to reach out and help my fellow community members are to initiate community gardens in a new way where none presently exist and implement safe, clean, renewable energy programs with a newly created electricity generator design. I will help change the world for the better. It is only a matter of time for me to to set these new ideas in motion, and education is the key. Once my academic endeavors are fulfilled, I hope to professionally work in small, technologically advanced greenhouses and in large scale agriculture streamlining sustainable organic growing methods. It seems to me, since the world's population keeps on growing, we will need to find more, sound, alternative methods to fulfill the needs of the masses.

I want to be part of this and ensure everyone there will be enough to go around.

With that said, I want to thank you for taking the time to read ny blog. This is a great thing you are doing! Godspeed.
