Harvard Business School African - American Alumni Association - 2009 Leadership Summit
The Harvard Business School African-American Alumni Association (HBSAAA) is proud to announce that the 11th Leadership Summit will be held in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center Boston.
The unprecedented economic and political challenges we face today inspired our theme for this year's Summit -- Reassessing Leadership: Innovating & Proceeding with Confidence. The planning committee for the Summit is engaging top-tier speakers and industry leaders from business, academia and politics who are helping to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Confirmed speakers include Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, NBC News Washington Bureau Chief Mark Whitaker and former Federal Reserve Governor Andrew Brimmer.
Attendees at the Summit's thought-provoking panels and interactive networking events can acquire the most current knowledge, ideas and inspiration needed to move business forward confidently, while capitalizing on new and innovative opportunities. Throughout the Summit, HBSAAA will continue to build on themes discussed in several high profile past events. In particular, we will highlight many issues addressed in our May 18th Business Insights
to Advance the Agenda of Hope and Change Forum hosted by The White House and held in conjunction with White House senior economic, health and policy officials.
